Role Purpose:

• Group FRA (Financial Reporting and Analysis), BPA (Business Planning and Analysis), Procurement have increasing expectations with regards to a platform that can provide cross-divisional standard information beyond Financial Reporting. A Group Datawarehouse initiative based on SAP BI has been kicked off in order to satisfy those existing and future business needs
• The purpose of this role is to manage projects of category B – A to provide business solutions; to give the project team directions and maintain control of progress, quality and budget, to implement scalable BI solutions viable beyond project lifecycle.
• The Pharma Service Delivery Group (SDG) is the Global IT organization which leads the IT implementation of the Group Datawarehouse initiative. This role is to manage SAP BI projects within the organization, dedicated to Group DWH, using a mixture of internal, external and off-shore resources. The role also has a strong Solution Architecture dimension, ensuring BI architectural standards are followed and best practices leveraged

Key accountabilities:

• Manage and represent BI projects from start-up to completion, including stakeholder management for the IT side..
• Plan and organize the project, allocate internal and/or external resources to accomplish project tasks.
• Lead the IT project staff.
• Be responsible for achieving the project objectives.
• Manage quality, timeliness and cost of the deliverables.
• Maintain control over the project’s status and budget.
• Report project status and issues where help is needed to the Steering Committee.
• Compliance to the ICE methodology.
• Drive the long term solution architecture for Group datawarehouse
• Compliance to BI Architectural standards
• Ensure integration among project team members and local business / IT team members
• Ensure a smooth migration to the long term support organization: Knowledge transfer from external to internal staff; knowledge transfer from project team to support team
Minimum requirements Education:
University degree or equivalent

Languages:

English – fluent spoken and written.
Further languages preferred

Experience:

- At least 5 years of experience in Business and IT, preferably within Pharma Industry – Strong conceptual and methodological skills – At least 3 full SAP implementation cycles , at least one as Project Manager with a budget > USD 1 million in a complex environment. – Last SAP project should not be longer than 1 year ago. – At least 5 years of SAP BI experience, experience with other BI tools is a plus (SAP Business Objects, Cognos TM1) – Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage virtual teams to deliver against milestones – Strong functional knowledge in Financial reporting and/or Procurement – Strong oral and written communication skills
