The Position
Provide technical support and maintain consistent configuration, implementation, operation and support of the Server and Storage domain. Perform all administrative processes and procedures ensuring all components and services meet their operational target as defined in OLAs. Support the infrastructure components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. Support Services - keeps the business running. Supports the assigned servers and infrastructure components to achieve high availability and performance of the various business applications supported. Ensures installation, configurations and operation of the environment within cost targets. Assists in managing the assigned servers and related infrastructure components across the organization ensuring high efficiency and effectiveness. Supports the ITSM Processes according to Global PGI standards (Configuration, Change, Problem Management, etc.). Collaborates with the rest of the PG functions to ensure alignment among the relevant organizational units. Contributes to the concept, planning and execution of projects. Technologies Supported - provides support services listed to a component within on of the following technical domains within Roche Diagnostics:
Windows Servers and related technologies such as Aspect, Citrix, Terminal Services and Active Directory
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

The qualified candidate will have:
Graduate in Informatics or equivalent working experience
9 years IT experience regarding Aix & Linux servers, experience in multiple technical or business domains required
Experience in highly regulated environments advantageous
Project management experience desirable
Application knowledge in the relevant large scale corporate server technology and certification in these preferred
