Job Description:

Coordinate Business Change Management activities in relation to specific projects including but not limited to:

  • Assess organisational readiness and implement strategies to support readiness and strategic development
  • Implementing change management approaches and models relevant to specific projects and to enable benefits realisation
  • Supporting business process mapping and developing “as is” / “ to be” models
  • Identifying business requirements and aligning those requirements to the functional roadmap
  • Developing, managing and monitoring benefits approaches
  • Developing and managing communications plans and activities
  • Develop approaches to stakeholder engagement and plan effective engagement activities covering clinical, operational and IT stakeholders
  • Support the development of plans including business plans , project plans, benefits plans and related activities
  • Manage risks and issues relating to responsible project areas

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience essential
  • Clinical qualification and/ or NHS operational experience in an acute hospital setting or similar essential
  • Prince2 practitioner qualification preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years proven experience of managing IT change programmes within an NHS setting essential
  • Qualification in a recognized “Change” methodologies eg: 6 Sigma / Cranfield Benefits methodology preferred
  • Proven experience of managing a small team essential
  • Client-oriented and independent problem-solving abilities essential
  • Efficient communication and negotiation skills essential
  • Extremely focused, accurate and methodical
  • Able to cope with a very dynamic and demanding environment
  • Willingness and availability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau
  • Must have a valid UK work permit and be entitled to work in the UK on a permanent basis
  • Clean driver’s licence required
