IT Project/Program Manager

Job Description
- Manages complex multisite projects/programs from design and development to deployment.
- Effectively manages project resources (time, resources and budget)
- Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
- Leads and oversees project team
- Performs team assessments and evaluations.
- Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
- Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
- Reports project status and issues where help is needed to the Steering Committee.
- Ensures compliance to the Novartis ICE methodology and GxP where applicable.
Minimum requirements
- University education and >8 years of business and IT experience in an international environment
- Track record of successfully deployed global IT projects with complete project management responsibility and accountability for the projects and programs in the pharmaceutical industry (GxP, SOX)
- Successfully managed projects having a high impact on the 6 change dimensions (process, organization, location, data, application and technology)
- Expert Knowledge of project management, Business Process Re-Engineering, software lifecycle management methodologies, internal IT standards and financial processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage large geographically or functionally dispersed teams
- Capability to think strategically and to handle organizational change
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of QA/QC Business Processes and IT Solutions.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial and able to create effective relationships with persons from diverse backgrounds
